   Duration of the Course

The duration of the course leading to the integrated double Bachelor's Degree BA. LLB. shall be of five academic Year. Each academic year comprises of two semesters.

A student who successfully completes the five year LLB. Course shall be eligible for the award of the Degree B.A.LL.B. Maximum duration for obtaining the double degree is 5+2=7 years.

Each Semester shall consist of 18 Weeks. The papers and the syllabus are given after admission. The teaching and instructions shall be in accordance with the Bar Council of India Rules.

The subjects of study prescribed for the course shall be as under:

   I Semester:
Course I- General English
Course II- Major- I - Political Science-Theory and Thoughts
Course-III -Minor- I - 1 – Sociology - Invitation to Sociology
Course-IV – Major - 1 –Minor-II - 1 - Principles of economics
Course-V – Legal Methods

   II Semester:
Course -I –Kannada or Kannada Kali
Course-II- Major - 2 – Political science – Organization and Institutions.
Course-III- Minor- I - 2 - Indian Society; continuity and change
Course-IV- Minor II - 2 - Money banking and International Trade
Course-VI Law of Torts

   III Semester:
Course I – Major - 3- Political Science - State and Political obligations
Course II – Major - 4- Political science - Major world Governments
Course-III–Minor-I-3-Sociology-Recent theoretical perspectives in Sociology
Course-IV – Minor-II - 3 Economics - Economic theory and Public finance
