    EXAMINATION
   PROMOTION

  1. University Examination are held at the end of the Academic Semester.
  2. The student must have attended a minimum of 75% classes conducted in the semester.
  3. The student shall have paid the examination fees and submitted the applications to the University for both semesters of the academic year.
  4. Students are required to successfully complete the entire course within Nine years from admission to the course.


   AWARD OF THE DEGREE
A student shall be eligible for the award of the B.A., LL.B. Degree after he/ she has successfully completed all the prescribed courses in all the semesters and has secured a minimum of 40% in the aggregate provided his or her character and conduct are found to be satisfactory during the course.


   AWARD OF CLASSES
The award of classes shall be as under:
   a) 70% and more First Class with Distinction
   b) 60% and above but less than 70% First Class
   c) 50% and above but less than 60% Second Class
   d) 40% and above but less than 50% Pass Class

   Course Structure:
The allocation of courses over ten semesters shall be as under.

   I Semester:

Course II- Major- I - Political Science-Theory and Thoughts
Course-III -Minor- I - 1 – Sociology - Invitation to Sociology
Course-IV – Major - 1 –Minor-II - 1 - Principles of economics
Course-V – Legal Methods

   II Semester:
Course -I –Kannada or Kannada Kali
Course-II- Major - 2 – Political science – Organization and Institutions.
Course-III- Minor- I - 2 - Indian Society; continuity and change
Course-IV- Minor II - 2 - Money banking and International Trade
Course-VI Law of Torts

   III Semester:
Course I – Major - 3- Political Science - State and Political obligations
Course II – Major - 4- Political science - Major world Governments
